My Piece in the Puzzle

Project Sun will again host sessions of the “My Piece in the Puzzle” program, which navigates difficult conversations aimed at racial healing. The Grow Center is proud to partner with Project Sun to host the celebration and reflection of their mid-way point in their six year grant. This will take place on January 19, and 20, 2023. It will include dinner, a presentation, and envisioning for the future to help children flourish in Kankakee County.

Worship Services

Central Christian Church’s Worship Services meet on the 2nd & 4th Sundays of the month at 10:00 a.m. The current sermon series is “Bring Good News,” which is a yearlong journey through the gospel of Luke. It began in Advent of 2021 and will end in November of 2022.
